What about our trees?

Must we tie ourselves to trees like the vicar? Sharp-eyed locals have noticed the felling of yet another tree in Somers Town, for recent developments the Central Somers Town. The latest version of the CIP plans omit a grove of silver birch, supposed to be outside the playground – both promised in earlier plans.

This adds to the loss of mature trees in St James Park, and those in Euston Gardens for HS2, as protested by Rev Stevens.

CiP or Slip? or rather sleight of hand again?

Either way, Somers Town with its appalling air pollution (around a school too!) suffers as developers ride roughshod over the wishes of locals.
