Somers Town heritage destroyed – a locally listed building the old convent and Maria Fidelis school gone.
The council planning committee who let this go, apparently met in August 2016 – the height of the summer holidays and this is what went through. Here’s more of what is lost.

Nothing was salvaged. A friend asked about the stained glass windows and was refused entry to site to even talk about it as he “didn’t have a site card”
Consequently the whole lot has gone into a skip.
We heard the school has had a fundraising crowdfunding for the windows. Have spoken to Camden New Journal about this who are looking into whether anything was saved.https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/maria-fidelis-stainedglasswindow
