Forum – air and space at British Library

Come to the last forum meeting of the year tonight, Wednesday 12 December, at the slightly later time of 7pm at the Living Centre, Ossulston Street, NW1.

What’s happening at empty land behind British Library and who are Global Generation?

Global Generation and the British Library are coming to give us an update on their plans to construct a Story Garden on the lands between the library and the Crick. The planning application is now in, 2018/5663/P, and the design and access statement can be found here.

Air quality report

Also, thanks very much to everyone who made it to the air quality meeting at the end of last month. A copy of the report, slides and 2-page summary can be found on the forum website’s air quality page.

What’s happening at Camley Street

Finally, the Camley Street Neighbourhood Plan is currently out to consultation. Alex Smith, founder of Alara Wholefoods, is coming to our meeting on 9 January to explain what they are trying to do at Camley Street. We share a very short border at St Pancras Gardens, but also have many common interests including building genuinely affordable homes, safeguarding local jobs and creating new ones, and encouraging green infrastructure throughout the area. The plan can be found here and the consultation runs until 13 January 2019.
