  • 12am Thursday – Somers town residents are invited to talk , to talk with councillor/ Camden
  • 1pm showing of  ‘somerstownwishes’  film with locals’ views made by Diana Foster

Quote from artist:

My hope is to set up an informal workshop during the exhibition which provides an open-ended platform for local residents to express their stories and experiences of Somers Town.
We Are Open is an experiment for the Lethaby Gallery. Over four weeks graduates from Graphic Design, Fine Art and Spatial Practices will be invited to create responses to the Gallery’s local communities and environments. Each graduate will be resident for one week. The gallery is their studio, and will be open to the public for the duration of their stay.
We Are Open brings the outside world into the gallery, and vice versa. It will feature opportunities for the public and our students to take part in events and workshops, and a reading area where you can browse books selected by our graduates.
