Hmm best to take into account HS2 and all the construction work and noise this area engenders, much to the detriment of people’s health,Somerstown will be cultured out in the next ten years yuppified and corporate and they will change its name perhaps to East Euston village or some such crap. Were witnessing the end of community, the rise of the developers who care little for history and wisdom, the dumbed down middle class pervading our streets.

Surely this area is dense enough without new buildings.
    Green space? Trees?
What happened to community?the councils plan will change the area irrevocably.
Add to that cross rail HS2 and endless roadworks …

There was a protest this morning at Purchase Street Open park about the plans to build a 25 storey block of luxury flats on this park and other issues – look out for leaflets

We have to stop this. It is grabbing what little space we have. What I love about somers town is the lack of cars, the bikes, the bit of greenery we have, in a place of dense social housing where no one has a garden hardly.
